FOUR WEEK EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM
Beginning on November 2, 2010
One-on-One Master Classes

Michele Rundgren has launched Artist Vortex, a four-week ongoing educational program which draws from her own expertise, as well as that of friends who are legendary in the performance and recording industry.
Artist Vortex is a panel-based workshop program that provides feedback and educational tips from the most successful producers, musicians, educators and industry executives the music business has to offer.

Classes will be held at Musician's Institute and Henson Recording Studios in Hollywood on Tuesday nights, over four consecutive weeks beginning November 2, 2010. The program will subsequently be offered three times each year.

Michele created this program out of a desire
to educate, inspire and motivate
talented artists who are looking to develop
the necessary skills to succeed in today's
entertainment industry.
What would you ask a record producer about your music?
What would you ask a multi-hit songwriter about your songs?
How could a world-renowned vocal coach improve your voice?
How could a seasoned Broadway and rock singer make a difference in your performances or auditions?
What would you ask celebrities about their own journey to the top of the charts?
Find out at: THE ARTIST VORTEX, where we provide industry experts to personally coach, inspire, and answer any questions you may have about your work and how you can best succeed.
Industry Icon Panelists include:
Todd Rundgren, Paul Freeman, Pat Leonard, Dave Stroud, Matt Scannell, Terry Ellis, Loren Israel, Daniel Bedingfield, Bobby Kimball and many more. Each week, one or two of these experts will join Michele and Dave Stroud at the panel table to share their valuable input and specialized industry knowledge.

ARTIST VORTEX FOUR WEEK PROGRAM
BEGINS NOVEMBER 2, 2010
All classes are held on Tuesdays with Michele Rundgren, Dave Stroud and an Industry Icon.

Singers and songwriters not only get a chance to perform and obtain feedback, but to watch others go through the process of constructive educational critique. Each class of the four-week program will accept up to 50 students. All will be able to perform for the expert panel, thereby providing the opportunity to not only grow and learn from the best, but be seen by them, as well. Each night, 8 to 10 participants will take the stage and perform. Each night, these student performers/songwriters will receive feedback on where their strengths lie, and in what areas they can still grow as an artist.

The Artist Vortex will be separated into two separate, two-hour classes each Tuesday night. Singer/Performer classes are from 6 to 8 pm, and Songwriter classes are held from 8:30 to 10:30 pm.

While purchasing single classes at $65 each is an option, please note that those who participate in the full four-week program will be given priority when it comes to performing and receiving feedback.

Michele Rundgren
"I saw so much insider knowledge that needed to be shared. Why should those struggling for success in the entertainment industry not have access to the same benefits I did, when I first performed on Broadway? Without advice from my Broadway director and friend, Kenny Ortega, and many other more-experienced artists, I would never have had the great opportunities and career that I've enjoyed!"

Dave Stroud
"Think American Idol, but with the benefit of an educational setting. This has nothing to do with judging a performance, but rather, how to refine and develop what you already have. You'll get this advice from people who have succeeded in the industry, and/or those who make the decisions about who makes the cut."

Patrick Leonard
"I am so excited to be part of this", says Pat Leonard. "The concept of education for artists so that they truly understand not only the skills they need, but the business they are in, is so important. Michele and her vision are rare, and fills a long-neglected need."
